Tulsa police responded to a convenience store armed robbery on Tuesday at 11 p.m.

Officers said a citizen approached two suspicious people at a Fiesta Mart on East 21st Street, and one of them fired a gunshot into the ground before taking off in a getaway car.

The witness told another customer what happened but didn't stay to talk with police because he had warrants, TPD said.

The clerk was unable to give a description of the shooter.

The gunshots were heard on surveillance video, TPD said, but shows door opening and closing with no one entering. Investigators also found four shell casings at the scene.
