Tulsa Police say a man shot in the shoulder outside a northwest Tulsa apartment building walked home before calling for help Thursday morning.
Officers got his phone call from the 1300 block of North Union just after 7 a.m.
At the home, officers and EMSA paramedics found the victim lying on his front porch with a gunshot wound to his right shoulder.
Police said the victim told officers he was outside some apartments in the 1600 block of West Newton when he was shot. He said the shooter left in a black Cadillac Catera.
EMSA took the victim to the hospital. Police said he is expected to be okay.
Police said the victim gave them a good description of the shooter and they are looking for him now.
