The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is looking for the driver who led them on a chase across Tulsa Friday, but they did arrest his passenger.

According to the trooper's report, the chase began at about 12:30 a.m. after he tried to stop a Honda Accord for failing to dim its high beams at Admiral Place and 73rd East Avenue.

The OHP says speeds reached 110 mph as the chase progressed "throughout the Tulsa metro area" on highways and through residential neighborhoods.

Tulsa Police deployed stop sticks on 36th Street North near Sheridan, flattening the Honda's tires and forcing it to crash. The two people in the car jumped out and ran.

Troopers arrested the passenger, identified as 30-year-old Lucas Armentor of Skiatook, but the OHP says even K9 officers were unable to find the driver.

The OHP said Armentor hung out the passenger side window and the sunroof during the chase and shined a flashlight into the trooper's eyes with the strobe function activated. The trooper also saw Armentor throw "clear plastic objects" and his wallet out the sunroof.

Troopers say they found numerous syringes in the car.

The booked Armentor into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of littering, seat belt violation, interfering with a police officer, resisting arrest, eluding and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jail records show he is due in court on May 16, 2014.
