Tulsa Police said a fight between a man and a teenage neighbor ended with the teen stabbing the man with a pocket knife late Monday.
Officers said the fight broke out after a 50-year-old man told the teen to move his car in the 5100 block of South Lakewood at about 9:15 p.m.
Police said the man confronted the teen and others, slapping Deandre Chippis, 18, in the face. They said Chippis took a knife and stabbed the victim in the side, then got into a car and drove off.
EMSA took the victim to the hospital. Police said he was expected to be okay.
Chippis was located a fast food restaurant at 41st and Memorial a short time later and arrested.
Tulsa Police booked Chippis into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of assault with a deadly weapon.
Jail records show he was being held in lieu of $25,000 bond with a court appearance set for May 6, 2014.
