Former Owasso City Manager Given Deferred Sentence

The former Owasso city manager was handed a deferred sentence after pleading no contest to writing a bogus check and filing a false police report.

Rodney Ray will have to cover the check and pay almost a thousand dollars in fines.

Ray resigned last summer after accusations he demanded a police officer destroy evidence after a city councilor was pulled over under suspicion of drunk driving.
