A trooper arrested a pickup driver after a crash on a downtown Tulsa highway early Wednesday.

The crash occurred on the Inner Dispersal Loop near the intersection with the Tisdale Expressway before 1 a.m.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said witnesses reported the pickup weaving in and out of traffic before it struck a barrier. A car following behind then struck the pickup and the barrier.

Troopers said the pickup's driver -- John Winslow, 27 -- had an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and his truck smelled of marijuana. Inside the pickup, the OHP found an open bottle of vodka and 5 grams of marijuana in a small bag.

Winslow was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints including DUI, driving under suspension, possession of marijuana and transporting an open container.

Jail records show Winslow was being held in lieu of a $2,950 bond with a court appearance set for March 26, 2014.

Troopers said neither Winslow nor the driver of the car was injured.
