Oklahoma Woman Pleads Guilty To Animal Cruelty

An Oklahoma woman pleaded guilty in a second case of animal cruelty. Carolyn Vaughn was sentenced to eight years.

Investigators found 30 dead horses and dozens more starving on her Seminole County farm last spring.

Vaughn was found guilty in an earlier animal abuse case in Nowata County. More than 50 malnourished dogs were seized from Vaughn's property just three years earlier.

She was convicted in that case but never had to spend time in prison.
