Authorities report roads across eastern Oklahoma remain slick in spots Tuesday morning. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says streets and highways in the Tulsa area are for the most part clear with the exception of isolated slick spots especially on bridges and exit ramps.

City of Tulsa reports most side streets in neighborhoods are still snow covered.

Elsewhere, ODOT reports slick roads in Cherokee and Adair counties in northeastern Oklahoma and in LeFlore and Pittsburg counties in southeastern Oklahoma.

News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says Tuesday temperatures across eastern Oklahoma will range from the upper 30s to the lower 40s.

While some of the snow on the ground will start to melt, Crone says more wintry precipitation is forecast by Wednesday evening for the eastern half of the state. He says light rain is expected to transition to light snow as another storm system from in from the southwest.
