Eastern Oklahoma could experience a weather roller coaster Friday through Monday, with warmer temperatures Friday and Saturday followed by the possibility of freezing rain, sleet and snow Sunday into Monday.
News On 6 meteorologist Dick Faurot says after a warming trend a strong storm system is forecast to enter the state this weekend bringing the possibility of freezing rain early Sunday.

He says as the colder temps move into northeast Oklahoma the freezing rain may change over to sleet and then snow Sunday evening and early Monday before moving east out of the state.
Faurot says the forecast calls for the temperature to fall below freezing early Sunday and not get back above 32 degrees until Tuesday.
