Police: Four-Year-Old Child Found Wandering Along Tulsa Street

Tulsa Police said a man saw a child walking alone in the 9700 block of East 21st Street early Thursday so he picked the child up and called police.

Police took custody of the child just after 5 a.m. At about the same time, other officers learned where the four-year-old girl lived so they took her home.

Police said the mother told officers she had left the girl in the care of an older sibling before leaving to take her husband to work. When she returned home, she found the girl gone and called 911.

Police said the child had walked several blocks before being spotted by the Good Samaritan.
