According to the Adair County Sheriff's Facebook page, over 600 customers are without power.
According to the page, power poles were accidentally cut down by a lumber worker in an area where there is no access road.
Ozark Electric is reportedly responding to the problem and is very concerned. A road is having to be cut in order for crews to repair the damage.
It is reported that customers will be without power until around 11 p.m. Monday.
A warming station has been set up in the Watts Community Building next to the Watts Police Department.
The Adair County Sheriff's Office advises anyone without heat or power to go there.
