Services Held For Former Tulsa City Councilor Roscoe Turner

Friends and family come together to say their final goodbyes to former Tulsa City Councilor Roscoe Turner.

Services were held at Tulsa's First Baptist Church downtown.

Turner passed away last week at age 81 and following the service was buried at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Roscoe Turner worked for the City of Tulsa as a boiler inspector for 21 year before joining the council, where he served three terms. A life-long Tulsa resident, Turner graduated from Booker T. Washington High School.

He is survived by his wife, four sons and three daughters.
