Tulsa firefighters say a cigarette left burning outside started a fire that damaged midtown Tulsa law offices Sunday afternoon.
Crews arrived to find flames and heavy black smoke pouring from the building near 15th and Utica.
"Firefighters quickly got inside and extinguished the building," said Chief Andy Teeter of the Tulsa Fire Department. "At the time of the fire, the building was unoccupied."
Investigators say the fire started outside the two-story building and spread inside. The fire appeared to be concentrated on a deck outside the law office building.
