TU's Transition To The American Taking Shape

The first visible sign that The University of Tulsa will be making the move into the American Athletic Conference on July 2014 is occurring on campus this week as the "American" logo is being stitched into the turf at H.A. Chapman Stadium.

The trademark "A" of the American Athletic Conference is being placed at each 25-yard line, both facing west, the press box side of the field.  The north 25-yard line has the "A" placed on the west side of the field, while the south 25-yard line will have the "A" placed on the east side of Skelly field.

The process began on Wednesday and is expected to conclude this Friday.
