Trial Underway For Man Accused Of Tulsa Courthouse Shooting

Prosecutors began presenting their case Wednesday against a Tulsa man accused of opening fire in the courthouse plaza on March 7, 2012.

Tulsa Police say Andrew Dennehy walked into the Tulsa County Courthouse plaza and opened fire when sheriff's deputies confronted him. One deputy was shot in the hand.

Court documents state Dennehy is pleading not guilty by reason of insanity.

His trial is taking place at the Tulsa County courthouse.
