Police Find Wrecked, Abandoned Car In South Tulsa

Police believe a woman spun out and crashed overnight in south Tulsa. At about 1 a.m., someone called police to report a crash in the area of 98th Street and South Yale.

When police arrived, they found a damaged Mazda in a parking lot. Their investigation showed the driver had spun out while south on Yale and hit a culvert with the rear of the car. The woman then parked the car and left the scene.

Her purse was still in the car, and police were going to go to her home address. An officer at the scene said she would be ticketed for leaving the scene of an accident.
