Missing Owasso Man Found Dead In Tulsa

Owasso Police have canceled a Silver Alert for a man with diabetes, who had not been seen for about 24 hours.

The body of Steve Hillson, 63, was found in the City of Tulsa, according to Lieutenant Nick Boatman with the Owasso Police Department.

TPD Captain Rick Helberg says Hillson checked into the Days Inn at 8181 E. Skelly Drive Friday night. Around noon Saturday, cleaning staff entered his room and found him dead.

Helberg says the room had been locked from the inside, and there are no signs of foul play. The medical examiner will determine cause of death.

Hillson was an insulin dependent diabetic with a history of problems due to the disease.
