The New Year means new rules for oil and gas companies in Oklahoma.

Wednesday, operators of all oil and gas wells in the state must report the chemicals they use during fracking, a drilling process used widely across the state.

The operators of horizontal wells were already required to disclose the chemicals, now all other wells are included in the rule.

Companies can list the chemicals online or the Oklahoma Corporation Commission will do it for them.
