Tulsa Traffic Backed Up After Chain Reaction Crash On I-44

A six vehicle crash on I-44 near Lewis backed up eastbound traffic for at least three miles early Friday.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol say a pickup truck struck the rear of another eastbound pickup truck just before 7 a.m. That crash caused four other vehicles to stop suddenly resulting in a chain reaction crash.

Troopers say there were some injuries but nothing serious.

With emergency crews on scene, eastbound traffic was slowed.

The OHP says the crash was not weather related.
