Northern and eastern Oklahoma could see snow and southeast Oklahoma may get freezing rain later this week as a storm system moves through the state.
News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says a cold air mass will arrive Wednesday bringing much colder air on Thursday.
Crone says a wintry mix is in the forecast for northeast Oklahoma for Thursday into Friday. He says an area along I-44 from Oklahoma City to Joplin could see 2-4 inches of snow while freezing rain could fall in southeast Oklahoma.
Crone says Oklahoma could see more frozen precipitation Saturday evening into Sunday.
