Fire Destroys Metal Barn Housing Trophy Business Near Jenks

The Jenks and Sapulpa Fire Departments were sent to a building fire near Highway 75 and Highway 117 Wednesday afternoon. 

Firefighters arrived at the fire in the 2800 block of West 117th Street South shortly after noon.

Video from Osage SkyNews 6 showed that the fire destroyed the metal building. A home next door was not damaged.  

The homeowner told News On 6 she saw smoke coming from the building and called 911.

She said her husband operated a trophy business in the building.

Fire officials say the fire was hard to fight because there were no hydrants nearby.

Smoke from the fire could be seen for miles.
