Tulsa Hospital Uses Backup Generator When PSO Fuse Fails

A failed electrical fuse on a PSO utility pole caused Hillcrest Medical Center's backup generator to kick in Thursday afternoon.

Officials said operations at the Tulsa facility were not impacted.

The Tulsa Fire Department was called to the medical center on Utica as a precaution while Public Service Company crews replaced the fuse.
