Senator Jim Inhofe Thanks Colleagues After Loss Of Son In Plane Crash

A week after his son was killed, Senator Jim Inhofe was back at work Monday. Tulsa surgeon Dr. Perry Inhofe died last Sunday, when his plane went down near Owasso.

Senator Inhofe used part of his time on the Senate floor Monday to thank his colleagues for their support.

"I had a horrible loss eight days ago, losing a son," Inhofe said. "And it was so touching to me, and I want to thank Barry Black, who included a good bit of some things about my son and about me in his opening prayer."
