Man Arrested For DUI After Police Chase In Downtown Tulsa

Officers said a couple spotted arguing in a car led to a Tulsa Police chase and arrest late Thursday.

Police said when they pulled up to the car parked near 15th and Sheridan at about 11 p.m., a woman in the car jumped out and Thomas Supernaw, 45, drove off.

Police said Supernaw drove onto the Broken Arrow Expressway headed west.  The chase wound its way through downtown Tulsa where police said Supernaw crashed his car at 18th and Boulder. 

He then got out of his car and ran.  Officers arrested Supernaw several blocks away after a foot chase.

Thomas Supernaw was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of DUI, eluding, reckless driving, having no driver's license and having an expired tag.
