A surprising number of guns, most of them loaded, have been confiscated by Transportation Security Administration agents at airports across the country, including in Oklahoma.
This year alone, the TSA says they've found more than 1,500 guns nationwide.
The TSA says 22 passengers have been stopped for carrying weapons at Tulsa International Airport in the past two years. In Oklahoma CIty, 17 passengers who had guns were detained.
The agency says most of those travelers had conceal carry permits and said they simply forgot they were carrying a weapon.
