Sheriff: Missing Sapulpa Man Contacts Family, Says He's OK

The family of a Sapulpa man last seen on October 9 says he has contacted family members to say he is OK.

The Creek County Sheriff's Office says Michael Barnett, 32, was reported missing by his family eight days later.

Bob Barnett says Michael called his father Friday morning.

Michael's family issued the following statement:

"Thank You So Much! We are so thankful for all of the people who have gotten involved to help find Michael.  It has been truly amazing to see the love pour out of everyone. Over 7,000 shares happened from my posts alone and several thousand more from other individuals! We absolutely Love You All! Thank You from the whole Barnett Family."
