Westbound lanes were closed on U.S. Highway 412 at 289th East Avenue early Wednesday morning when a box truck and semi collided.

About 4:40 a.m., the box truck missed its turn, and in the process of turning around, made a left turn and collided with the semi, officials said.

At least one of the trucks was leaking diesel. The Oak Grove Fire Department contained the leak, and a HAZMAT team is on the way to clean up the mess.

The Highway Patrol reopened the westbound lanes of U.S. 412 at 289th East Avenue at about 9 a.m.

No injuries were reported.
