Bartlesville Man Charged With Rape Of 13-Year-Old

A Bartlesville man is in jail accused of raping a 13-year old girl at a home in Washington County in August.

Brandon Lee Williams, 20, was arrested this week.

A court affidavit states sheriff's deputies began an investigation after being notified by the girl's mother.

Deputies talked with both the girl and Williams. They also searched the teen's cell phone, finding sexual photos taken by Williams as well as a number of texts between Williams and the girl.

Brandon Williams was booked into the Washington County jail on charges of rape by instrumentation and soliciting sexual communication with a minor by use of technology. He is being held in lieu of a $30,000 bond.

Court records show Williams has a court appearance set for October 18.
