The 13th-ranked Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's soccer team hosts the 20th-ranked New Mexico Lobos in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) National Game of the Week on NSCAATV.com Wednesday night from the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium. Game time is set for 7:07 p.m.
Although the two teams have met 12 times before, this is the first meeting as members of Conference USA. The Lobos have a 6-5-1 lead in the all-time series, but it was TU that earned a 2-1 win last season over then third-ranked New Mexico.
Tulsa enters the contest with an overall 6-3-1 record and is 1-1 in C-USA action, while the Lobos enter the game with a 5-3-2 overall record and a 1-0-1 mark in league play. Tulsa is coming off of a 2-1 overtime win at Souther Carolina on Sunday to even its C-USA record to 1-1, while New Mexico is coming off of a double-overtime 0-0 tie against Charlotte.
Admission is $5. Youth attending the game in soccer jerseys will receive free admission. Fans can also watch the game online on NSCAATV.com.
