Green Country folks are invited to worship at Guthrie Green Saturday during Pray Tulsa, a family-friendly event that takes place through 10 p.m. Saturday. Pray Tulsa is described as a "one-day celebration that unitedly declares Jesus Lord over our great city."
Believers from all walks of life and denominations are invited to gather and connect for a "united demonstration of corporate worship and intercession to our God," according to the Pray Tulsa web page.
A number of faith-based groups have set up on the green to share materials on their programs, and food trucks are lining up to feed the hungry. Contemporary Christian music groups are performing.
Sponsoring groups include Prayer Power Ministries, The Burn Tulsa, 24/31 Prayer Network and Access Church.
