LeFlore County Teen Hit While Lying On Road

A 14-year-old girl is recovering in a Tulsa hospital after she was struck while lying on a rural LeFlore County road early Saturday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the incident occurred on Liberty Road near Cameron at about 1:45 a.m.

The girl, Naoma Dunigan of Cameron was flown by medical helicopter to Tulsa. The OHP says she is listed in critical condition with multiple injuries.

Troopers said a 2013 GMC pickup truck driven by Shane Naylor, 22, of Cameron, struck Dunigan. Naylor and two passengers in the pickup, Nathan Naylor, 25, and Addison Entmier, 23, both of Cameron were not injured.

The OHP says the crash remains under investigation.
