Tulsa State Fair Organizers Preview New Fried Concoctions

The Tulsa State Fair opens next week with the theme, "Pass the corndog.

But, of course, there are going to be a lot more food options than just corndogs. Every year, there are always a few new things that get people talking.

The folks at the fair gave a sneak peak of a few things they're excited about for this year, like pumpkin spiced cheesecake and fried fruity pebbles.

It's not all about food--there are some new attractions this year, too.

"Most importantly, we have over 30 new rides that are going to be coming to the carnival midway, and we're really excited about 'The White Water,' as well as 'The Fighter,' 'Surf's Up,' and just a lot of fun and excitement on the rides. We also have new ground shows," said Amanda Blair, with the Tulsa State Fair.
