Green Country Voters Decide School Bond, Sales Tax Issues

Some Green Country voters decided millions of dollars worth of school bonds Tuesday.

Some Green Country voters decided millions of dollars worth of school bonds Tuesday.

Barltesville passed a $36 million bond issue. Some of the money is supposed go toward security improvements, as well as renovating two outdated middle schools.

Voters in Inola overwhelmingly passed two separate bonds, as well. The first is for $3 million to build eight new classrooms, as well as improve security. The other is nearly $200,000, and will pay for two new school buses.

Sales Tax Extension
