Tulsa Police: Driver Killed When Her Car Hits Parked Van

A woman died after the car she was driving crashed into a parked van early Saturday in northeast Tulsa.

Police Cpl. Ron Clark told News On 6 that officers got a call about the crash in the 9100 East Latimer Court at 6:40 a.m. The location is near Pine Street and Mingo Road.

Clark said officers believe the 42-year-old woman was not wearing her seat belt when her eastbound car hit the unoccupied van. He says she was the only person in the car.

The state Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death.

The woman's name has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
