Police are looking for a man who pulled an 81-year-old woman from her car outside a Tulsa restaurant Thursday then drove off in it.
Officers said the incident occurred in the parking lot of the Chalkboard Restaurant at 1324 South Main at about 6 p.m.
Police said as one witness attempted to stop him, he drove over the woman's leg and sped away.
EMSA took the victim to the hospital with leg and head injuries. There is no word on her condition.
Tulsa Police describe the thief as a black man between 21-25 years of age, 5-foot-9, weighing 170 pounds. Witnesses told officers the man had a shaved head and was wearing a white tank top.
The car was a four-door, black 2008 Mercedes C300. It was found Friday in a parking lot at 1400 East 25th Street.
Detectives believe the car was left at the parking lot between 6:30 and 8 p.m. Thursday.
Anyone who might have seen the man in the car is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or text TIP918 to "CRIMES."
