A year after a fireball swallowed an historic Tulsa schoolhouse, developers are releasing new plans for the site.
The land around the charred Barnard Elementary would become a residential neighborhood. Developers say, before the school was built, it was originally zoned for homes.
"We love the historic districts and the way the homes are and we love the feel of that neighborhood, and so we really want to keep true to the neighborhood," said investment group partner Hailey Hinch.
Investors say neighbors are pushing for a park, so they've added a park to the neighborhood's final layout.
