Something good was cooking in downtown Tulsa Saturday afternoon, about 3,000 ribeye steaks to be exact.

It was the fifth annual Oklahoma Championship Steak Cook-Off.  Amateur teams from seven states competed for the grand prize and bragging rights.

"Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, think we even got somebody from Idaho. The word's beginning to get out. People who cook find out about these things and they do this for fun and love it," said Joe Wilkinson.

The real winners were the people who got to enjoy the steaks.

All money raised Saturday went to "Our Garden Project."

The project helps establish community gardens in partnership with local churches, schools and others to make produce available to those who have little or no access to it.
