Tulsa Police have arrested a man they say used his Chevrolet Impala to end an argument that started Saturday night in the Town Pump Bar, 33rd and Memorial.
Witnesses told authorities Timothy Tyron Beal was kicked out of the bar after "causing problems with all patrons of the bar" especially two other men, according to an arrest report.
Police say Beal left the bar but came back a few minutes later. At about 9:15 p.m., he saw the men he'd quarreled with outside the club and reportedly swerved to strike them with his vehicle.
"Timothy did not attempt to stop or avoid hitting either victim," the arresting officer said in the report.
Both men were injured and taken to a Tulsa hospital with what were believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Police say Beal was intoxicated at the time of the crash. He reportedly told one officer, "I accelerated toward them, I should have ran his head over with my tire."
Beal, an August, Arkansas resident, is in the Tulsa County Jail on two complaints of assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
