Tulsa Man Sentenced To Life In Prison For Child Neglect

A Green Country father was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison for neglecting his children, child crisis detectives tell News On 6.

Raymond Wofford, 31, pleaded guilty to two counts of child neglect back in February.

Last year, his 3-year-old was found roaming the neighborhood, begging for food.

Police said Wofford's daughter weighed just nine pounds when neighbors found her. A doctor told police she had scoliosis and malnutrition.

Wofford has been in the Tulsa County jail for the last year. Wednesday, a judge told him he'll spend the rest of his life behind bars.
