Green Country Seniors Get Fraud Protection Lessons

Area senior citizens are taking steps to make sure their golden years aren't wasted fighting fraud. The 2013 Senior Fraud Conference came to Tulsa Wednesday.

The Oklahoma Insurance Department is hosting these conferences across the state - to help seniors spot - avoid and fight fraud.

There are two key things seniors need to know to protect themselves.

"The best thing is, if it's too good to be true it typically is," said Insurance Commissioner John Doak, "and one of the things they're learning today is to ask for identification."
