Police Say Driver Slams Into East Tulsa Pole After Leaving Bar

EMSA took a driver to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition following a crash early Monday at the Admiral traffic circle at Mingo.

Tulsa Police said witnesses told them the driver had just left a nearby bar at about 2 a.m., when he apparently lost control as he headed east on Admiral and crashed into a utility pole in the middle of the traffic circle.

Tulsa Fire used the Jaws of Life to free the driver's legs from the wreckage.

No one else was involved in the crash.
