The Drillers only managed five hits Saturday night in Arkansas, but it was enough to take down the Travelers by a 3-1 final.
After Kyle Parker walked, Kiel Roling blasted a two-run homer to left. His 19th home run of the season put Tulsa up 2-0 in the first inning.
Luis Montanez cut the lead to 2-1 with a solo shot in the bottom of the fourth, but that's all the offense Arkansas could muster.
Roling added a sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth to make the score 3-1, and the Drillers' pitching finished the job from there.
Tyler Matzek (5-6) earned the win for pitched seven innings, allowing just one run to get the win. Matt Oye (6-7) allowed three runs in seven innings in a losing effort for Arkansas.
The Drillers (43-47) are back at it Sunday afternoon as they open a four-game set against Northwest Arkansas.
