Owasso Man In Critical Condition After Apparent DUI Crash On U.S. 169

An Owasso man was admitted to a hospital in critical condition Friday night after he crashed a sport utility vehicle on U.S. Highway 169 near 66th Street North.

James Christian Harmon, 41, was driving a 2003 Acura SUV when it veered off the right side of the roadway before 10 p.m., crossed Garnett Road and struck a concrete culvert, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol collision report.

Harmon was admitted to a Tulsa hospital with head, trunk internal and leg injuries, the report says.

According to the report, the cause of the crash was apparent DUI.
