Vinita Woman Sentenced To 68 Years For Child Porn Charges

A Vinita woman will likely spend the rest of her life in prison for sending "naked pictures of her toddler" to a man she met on Craigslist.

Prosecutors say 22-year-old Brittiny Dick showed absolutely no remorse until the moment she was sentenced. When the judge said she would spend 68 years in prison, she hunched over, put her hands to her face and cried.

"With all due respect it was a little bit too little, too late," said Assistant District Attorney Sarah McAmis.

McAmis said this is one of the most disgusting child abuse cases she has ever seen.

It all started with Ricky Lewis, who was sentenced to 60 years in prison in April.

Last year, Lewis was arrested twice within a week. The first arrest happened after a search warrant led investigators to nude pictures of a girl on his computer. He was arrested the second time after evidence on his cellphone showed he was meeting women on Craigslist and then asking them for naked pictures of their kids.

That's what led police to Brittiny Dick, who eventually pleaded guilty to two counts each of making and distributing child porn.

"She deserves to spend each and every one of those years in prison," McAmis said.

The details of the case were so graphic that Tulsa County Judge Kurt Glassco told the prosecutor to stop describing what happened.

Prosecutors say the only explanation the mother ever gave about why she did this was because she was "lonely."

"Never acknowledging her wrongfulness, never acknowledging the harm that she had caused her daughter, and in fact only talking about herself and her concerns about her own future," McAmis said.

Before her sentencing, the sobbing mother told the judge she's sorry about everything and she's sorry she hurt her 2-year-old daughter.

That little girl is now staying with family.

"We can only hope that she won't be able to remember the details, but we also know that she will be impacted by this for the entire rest of her life," McAmis said.

Dick's family and attorney declined to talk to us. They were able to speak briefly with her before she was taken back to lock up.

There's also another woman in this case. Prosecutors say Sally Deupree exchanged naked pictures of her grandchild with Lewis.

She is currently free on bond, with an ankle monitor. She has also been ordered not to have any contact with kids. Deupree is scheduled to go to trial on September 16 to face charges of possession of child pornography and attempting to procure the participation of a minor in child pornography.
