Any momentum the Tulsa Shock had from their two-game winning streak two weeks ago is officially gone as the Shock suffered its third straight loss, a blowout 84-61 loss to Washington.
The 23-point win was the Mystics biggest win in almost five years.
Roneeka Hodges led the Shock with 16 points off the bench, hitting 5-of-9 3-point attempts. She was the only Tulsa player in double figures and one of just two players that shot 50 percent from the field.
Ivory Latta scored 15 points against her former team to lead Washington. Monique Currie added 13 and Crystal Langhorne scored 11 points.
The Shock was plagued by terrible shooting from the field, shooting just 24.3 percent for the game. Tulsa was held to just nine points in the third quarter after a tight and back-and-forth first half that saw 11 ties and six lead changes.
Washington closed the first half on a 9-0 run to lead 44-34 at the break, and then continued the onslaught in the third quarter, building its lead up to 24 points, before building it up to 27 on multiple occasions in the fourth quarter.
Liz Cambage scored nine points in her second game back from an ankle injury, but struggled with foul trouble.
