Body of 60-Year-Old Man Recovered From Grand River

Authorities say a fisherman discovered the body of a 60-year-old man in Grand River Thursday evening.

The Grand River Dam Authority Police Department said in a news release the body was found about a quarter-mile east of Big Cabin Creek, in the northern end of Lake Hudson.

GRDA Police were notified at about 7:30 p.m., and officers came and removed the body from the water.

The body of the man, who has not yet been identified, was turned over to the state Medical Examiner, who will determine his identity and the cause of death.
