Former Owasso baseball star and current Baltimore Orioles pitcher Dylan Bundy will undergo Tommy John surgery on Thursday, ending his 2013 season.
Bundy never pitched in a game this season, experiencing arm soreness during spring training and elbow pain in April.
Bundy was examined by Baltimore team orthopedist Dr. John Wilckens and Dr. James Andrews and was told he'd need the surgery. The sooner Bundy has the surgery, the sooner he can begin rehabilitation.
Bundy pitched in two games last season for Baltimore and was expected to contribute more this season.

Bradley was drafted seventh overall in 2011 by the Arizona Diamondbacks and currently pitches in Double-A Mobile where he's been since May 2.
In 15 combined starts this year, Bradley is 7-3 with a 1.95 ERA and 103 strikeouts over 87 2/3 innings. Opposing batters are hitting .212 off him.
