With summer officially underway, law enforcement officers are ramping up efforts to keep drunk drivers off the road.
Saturday night, the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office and Oklahoma Insurance Commission will team up for a traffic and sobriety check point. Officers and deputies will be looking for drunk drivers, as well as those in violation of insurance laws.
Funding for the checkpoint comes from a State Highway Safety Office grant and the Insurance Commission.
We'll have a closer look at the checkpoint Saturday night on News On 6.
