Tulsa Public Schools has released an online survey urging parents, employees and Tulsa citizens to rate the district's performance.
Topics where input is sought:
- Quality of educational programs at TPS (district- and school-level programs)
- Perceived impact of the quality of TPS on property values, the local economy and people's willingness to relocate to Tulsa.
- The importance of keeping school buildings up-to-date and in good condition
- The effectiveness of the district's communication efforts with parents and the community
- Education reform efforts at TPS, including teacher and leader effectiveness and the development of a new teacher evaluation system
- Assess the district's financial stewardship of public funds
- The success of recent changes, including the expansion of language immersion programs, monthly "early release" Fridays and an expanded summer school program
