Dollar-Thrifty Confirms Lay-Offs Of Some Tulsa Employees

Dollar-Thrifty confirmed Monday a small number of Tulsa employees are being laid off by the end of the week.

Others will be cut over the next year, through 2015.

A spokesperson says the cuts are related to redundancies in the merged companies. Hertz had warned some duplicate jobs would be eliminated when it bought Dollar-Thrifty, but the company says it remains committed to keeping parts of the company in Tulsa.
